On The Outside

You’re invited to the exhibition ‘On The Outside’ this Labour Day weekend. Exhibition open daily from Saturday 24 October until Tuesday 27 October 2020, 10 am – 4 pm.

As per the current Covid-19 Level 2 restrictions all visitors to the gallery must sign in. This will allow us to keep records to enable contact tracing, if needed. Please also be mindful of playing it safe — wash your hands and maintain safe physical distancing (1m apart) where possible.

About the artists

Charlotte Goodman is currently based in Wellington, working at Te Papa and the gallery will be showing some of her recent paintings. Her style of art is very much about ‘play’ and experimenting with imaginary realms and the creatures that inhabit them.

Emma Hercus is currently based in Plimmerton, working as a painter and basket weaver. She enjoys working with acrylics on board, encaustics, wood carving, metal and all sorts of other recycled materials. She is currently studying towards a certificate in creativity at The Learning Connexion, who recently interviewed her – you can read more about Emma here.
